SIGHTS, SHOPPING & MUSEUMS
MANSION TOURS
Newport is well known for the historic mansions that line Bellevue Avenue. Managed by the Preservation Society of Newport County, no two mansions are the same. Some of our favorites include Rosecliff, Marble House, The Breakers and The Elms. Book a luxe picnic while you’re there!
If you find yourself with some extra time, chances are there is something at Bowen’s Wharf for you. The cobblestone streets of this harbor-side wharf are lined with restaurants, shopping, sight sailing adventures and live entertainment.

ON ISLAND FUN
Stomp some divots, or hit the beach – there’s plenty to do on Aquidneck Island for you.
BEACHES
Easton’s Beach (First Beach)- A short walk from the inn and the start of the Cliff Walk.
Sachuest Beach (Second Beach)- A long stretch of sandy beach – great for swimming or catching a wave at Surfer’s End.
Third Beach A bay beach that’s great for kids and families. Look for the Del’s frozen lemonade truck in the parking lot!
OCEAN DRIVE
Drive, bike or rent a scooter to experience Ocean Drive’s ten incredible miles of coastline featuring breathtaking views of the Atlantic.

NATURE WALKS & HIKES
Stretch your legs & your lungs by cruising along one of our favorite trails:
The best way to see the eastern coastline and the mansions of Newport is via the Cliff Walk. This stunning walking trail is 3.5 miles long with numerous access points along the way. If you are setting out to complete the entire walk, we recommend comfortable shoes as the southern portion crosses a rocky shoreline.
